The iPad is gaining ground as e-Reader to the Amazon Kindle

According to the latest ChangeWave survey iPad is gaining ground as a reader of eBooks to its rival, the Amazon Kindle.

Of the 2800 respondents 32% use the iPad as e-book reader, while the Kindle is used by 47%. We can see in the chart below the gradual decline of the Kindle compared with iPad .

The Kindle is still ahead in terms of IPAD eBook reader is concerned. But not so with other types of content (newspapers, magazines and blogs) in which the iPad sweeps the Amazon Kindle. Cosa quite logical as the Kindle is designed for reading books and little else ...
