June is approaching, the month in which perhaps is this the new iPhone 5 . And with it gain strength rumors about a new material, halfway between the glass and metal, that Apple could be using in the prototypes for its new smartphone: Liquidmetal.
This time we look at a proof of concept that has made French designer Antoine Brieux, rendering some synthetic images to see how it would be.
As some may know, Apple has just obtained the exclusive worldwide license to use the new material Liquidmetal in the creation of consumer electronic devices. And if those licenses are fighting so much, for nothing.
According to the designer, the new material Liquidmetal allow an iPhone with 4.5 inch screen, shedding if necessary the Home button, and with a thickness of less than 8 mm (9.3 mm against the iPhone 4S ). What may incorporate a virtual Home button for those who would activate it from a menu.
Thus, the screen would go from an aspect ratio of 3:2 to 16:9 known, they are taking the TV screens in recent years. Look also the headphone jack is now centered and not on the side.
Of course, the iPhone 5 A6 incorporate a new chip because CPU power A5X the new iPhone is dedicated primarily to the increased resolution of the Retina Display, but does not provide much in an iPhone.
