The current landscape between Apple and Samsung is leading to agreements between competitors that history does repeat itself. Microsoft statement yesterday an agreement in which Samsung agreed to pay a fixed amount for each tablet or smartphone with Android operating system sold.
Neither has transcended the percentage by which Microsoft will be on sale, no patents are involved in this agreement. And apparently, Microsoft did indicate that some patents to Samsung they use in their devices with Android OS are registered trademark by Microsoft. If Samsung had not agreed to reach an agreement, the situation with Apple would have repeated.
