Google sees danger and decides to support HTC

As we said, HTC is trying to stay within the U.S. market So has "absorbed" some patents to defend against Apple.
Now, Google sees the danger in which they are immersed, left without one of the best platforms to install the Android, and its chief executive, Eric Schmidt has said in a conference in Tokyo that will support their struggle HTC patent against Apple, accusing it of attacking Android by the success they have no ability to innovate to defend themselves.
This last accusation is where some of us pissed off and wonder what that capacity is not? How to innovate? and where Google would respond to a server without having to think too ... Mac OS? IOS ¿? ¿IPod? ¿IPod Touch? ¿IPhone? Will Apple TV? Does Time Machine? ... All this is to innovate according to Google. Moreover, what Google has done that could be considered innovative? Looking for?
