icloud: Apple's tag that synchronizes all your content

MobileMe goes away for us to give icloud welcome the new service Synchronization Apple's total for our devices.

Jobs began by saying that would be free, and it is. We will be able to have all our content in any of our 10 authorized devices with IOS.

MobileMe users will be familiar with this way of managing the files because we had the possibility to have contacts, mail and calendar sync on the fly, but now there are new features that we detail after the jump.

The first is "Documents in the Cloud." With this new integrated feature icloud, we have all our documents available in any of our devices. An example: if you edit a document on the street with our iPhone in Pages, when we get home, without doing anything, we'll automatically available in our iPad.

This work with Pages, Keynote and Numbers, so we will not have to worry about synchronizing devices with iTunes to get the documents.

The APIs available to developers, so we will see very shortly, third party applications incorporating this magnificent property.

Photostream is the second announced for icloud service. Now our latest 1000 photos are available at the tag to see them from any device and even from the living room TV through AppleTV. If we go on vacation and take pictures on our trip, will be available automatically at the iPad, Mac or PC.

The third pillar is icloud iTunes in the Cloud that will make all the songs you've bought from the iTunes Store, also be synchronized between devices.

One More Thing The keynote of the Match has been iTunes, which we are more than a service that scans your music ripped in iTunes, the search among the thousands of songs on the iTunes Store, and if they match, we will have a copy of this song in the cloud to be heard in any of our devices. This service will cost $ 29 per year.

Interesting new features that make cables, fortunately, are disappearing from our lives. icloud will be available this fall and will join the new IOS 5.

The only downside to all this: the wait.
