The App Store has reached the 500,000 applications and to celebrate the boys 148Apps, Chillingo and Chomp have released a computer graphics that includes information such as:
- In 2010, the word "Access" was declared "Word of the Year by the American Dialectic Society.
- The value of all applications from the App Store reaches 800 million dollars.
- $ 3.64 is the average price of an application from the App Store.
- There are 147,966 free applications.
Apple still has not made any official statement about it so I assume that will be reserved until the WWDC to talk about numbers and records.
