After nearly a year, iFixit has managed to identify the chip responsible for the management and noise cancellation on the iPhone 4. Apparently, the chip has a size of 3x3mm is manufactured by Audience, a maker of processors for high-end voice is already present in other terminals as the Nexus One
The chip identification has taken longer than expected because, under orders from Apple, a kind of white label covering all the information from the manufacturer so that it can not be identified.
