Apple finally intervened in the case "Lodsys" . We recall that the company began sending emails to application developers threatening to sue if they continued using the button "update" or "buy more content" within applications. As stated Lodsys, they own the patent on this button and, therefore, developers should be paying so much for some to Lodsys for its use.
Finally, Apple has sent a letter to the company asking them to stop threatening to sue their developers as Apple has a patent which also details the use of that button. He adds that if the developers are working on applications to the IOS, then they are protected by Apple's license.
