Apple could cut iPhone production from the current 4 in favor of the next model in the second fiscal quarter

Apple podría reducir la producción del actual iPhone 4 en favor del próximo modelo durante el segundo trimestre fiscal

A report from DigiTimes reveals that Apple plans to reduce the production of iPhone 4 (GSM and CDMA model) during the second fiscal quarter to start making the next model in the face of the launch from September, thus the production volumes would increase from 20 million today to 17.5 or 18 million units of which 16 million would be the model and the rest GSM CDMA model.

The report also reveals some details of the hardware of the next iPhone, which coincide with those who have read the last few days: 8-megapixel camera sensor which is manufactured by OmniVision and Largan Precision. There is also talk that the next iPhone will mount the A5 processor and external design experience little change.

If indeed all this, the production of next-generation iPhone will begin in late July or first of August.
