After Epic launched Infinity Blade , created with Unreal Engine 3, little else has used the very powerful graphics engine, so far, Gameloft announced it plans to launch 4 new titles using the engine from Epic. 2 of them will see the light during the 2011, while the other two will in 2012.
"Gameloft is pleased to partner with Epic, especially his ability to go ahead and put the best technology service game developers at all times. Using Unreal Engine 3 allows us to improve the graphics of the games with high-definition scenarios and lighting effects. We are confident that gamers will love the games with Unreal Engine 3 "
Julien declared Fournials, Vice President of Production at Gameloft.
For his part, Mark Rein, vice president of Epic Games has said:
"There is no doubt that the 4 games that work with Unreal Engine 3 will be visually spectacular, can exploit the potential of new mobile devices. We are eager to provide our technology Gameloft sustainable partnership "
We hope that soon we can give more information about the games, which should provide a quantum leap, considering that Gameloft games (more or less original) are worthy of playing and watching.
