On yesterday, the iPhone version of Gowala (social network "sites") received a major update, completely changing its appearance and adding new and exciting features.
The most prominent are the integration with Facebook Foursquare and Places (although even here the service is not available.)
The full list of new features is the following.
- Express Check In.
- Universal activity feed including photos taken by our contacts.
- Publication of check-ins more services: Twitter, Facebook Places, Foursquare, and Tumblr.
- Notes: We can leave notes to our friends to receive them when they check-in.
- Bookmarks: Browse and add new bookmarks.
- Improvements of creating places.
- Ability to advise of duplicate sites, incorrect or indoors.
- Improved navigation between our contacts.
- Complete change of design.

It is possible that many, after updating, do not open the application. To fix this you only have to uninstall Winterboard. Once done, it will automatically work without problems, so for now, you have to choose between using Winterboard Gowala or because they are incompatible with this update (thanks to our moderate versus the trick).
