The Chronic Dev Team leader, Joshua Hill (p0sixninja) has announced the number of error reports that the team has received so far. The Chronic Dev Team recently released an application that collects error reports iOS 5 in iTunes and send them to private servers to get the team's future, and desired by many people, Untethered Jailbreak iOS 5.
Only a week has passed and the team of hackers has already collected 10 million error reports Jailbreak users worldwide. Joshua and the rest of the team of Chronic Dev Team are in the process of analyzing the information in the reports for a stable Untethered Jailbreak iOS 5 .
Recently on Twitter, Joshua Hill announced that the servers Chronic Dev Team have received 10,071,868 reports of errors since the application was launched last Sunday.
The Chronic Dev Team is using Google's MapReduce to compute the massive influx of information sent by users of Jailbreak from around the world. According to Joshua, with MapReduce "evidence that would take days to make, are made in seconds."
There is still no estimated date for the Untethered Jailbreak iOS 5, iPad 2 and iPhone 4S , but the number of error reports received is proof of the Jailbreak community engagement with the Chronic Dev Team. Computer hackers have found major flaws in IOS 5, but Joshua says that remain a closely guarded secret for now.
